Have you ever been in a situation when you overheard two Thai people talking, and then all of a sudden you became irritated because they used a hilarious English word? You are not the only one. In our capacity as foreigners in Thailand, we consistently engage in this behaviour, which can be embarrassing at times. In addition, it is possible that you are totally oblivious to the fact that such foul-smelling English words have a fairly innocent connotation in Thai translation. We have compiled a list of a few Thai words that are considered to be quite offensive in English.

So to speak, haiporn means monk and the blessing you ask from them is called as korporn. There are many other words which have pornPornpiss – Piss is pronounced pid but they usually spell it as Piss and it means full of blessings.Tossaporn – means men blessingsPornthip- means splendid blessing
